That youth programs are deficit focused for a very long time.
L- Learn: What did you Learn about the history and practice of youth development?
I really liked learning about the resiliency of youth. For example caring relationships, expectations, and the opportunities. I also found it interesting that the change in youth development was a political change.
M-More: What do you want to know more about?
I would personally like to learn more about the traditional views of youth services. I feel like that is something that I am not incredibly educated about and I think that it would be interesting to dive deeper into that topic.
